City of Piqua officials, community partners and the Sunrise Hospitality, Inc. and F&M Bank teams celebrated the Hampton Inn groundbreaking at the 906 Scott Drive construction site on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
The hotel plans include 95 rooms located at the I-75/U.S. 36 interchange adjacent to the recently opened Olive Garden and Chipotle restaurants.
Construction is expected to begin within the next month, weather permitting. Developers expect the hotel to open in spring 2027.
