Due to the overwhelming support for the Lock 9 Park Summer Concert Series and other community events, the City of Piqua will be closing a section of downtown streets during events for the remainder of the summer and fall season.

The temporary closures will aid in the safety of event attendees and ease traffic flow during peak use times. The street closures and through-traffic adjustments include:

  • East Water Street from North Main Street to Spring Street
  • Spring Street from East Water Street to East High Street
  • Spring Street southbound from East Ash Street to East High Street

Motorists should remain alert when traveling in these areas. Note that entrances to local businesses and parking lots will remain open in the affected areas. East Water Street will remain open to the public parking lot entrance at the corner of North Main Street and East Water Street.
