The City of Piqua Parks & Recreation Department is launching its Summer Walking Club in partnership with the Miami County YMCA and YWCA Piqua. This free program will take place every Monday from 9 to 10 a.m., occurring June 9 through August 25.
The Summer Walking Club is open to individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Each week, walkers will gather at a different starting location along the city’s scenic bike path, offering new views and experiences throughout the summer.
The walking club promotes physical wellness, cardiovascular health and community connection. Participants will benefit from regular activity and the motivation of walking alongside fellow community members.
