The City of Piqua Community Services Department is excited to announce the launch of GovWell, a new software designed to make the permit application process easier, enhancing the overall service experience for residents and businesses.
The technology makes it easier to submit, track, pay for and manage development and engineering permits online. The GovWell software is a continuation of the efforts of the City of Piqua to make investment in Piqua easy.
“Our goal in the Community Services Department is to make the experience of getting a permit easy and efficient,” Community Services Director Kyle Hinkelman said. “The launch of this software is another step toward our goal of making doing business with the City of Piqua easy.”
Features of the permitting system include:
- Online applications: Applicants can complete permit forms and upload materials to the online portal, eliminating the need for in-person visits or paper forms.
- Workflows: The software streamlines workflows which reduces errors and wait times.
- Integrated payment system: Users can pay online through the application.
- Mobile-friendly interface: The platform is optimized for mobile devices, allowing users to apply for and manage permits on the go.
