At its October 15 meeting, Piqua City Commission received comment from several residents regarding the proposed Deerfield Subdivision expansion project. City Commission tabled its consideration of the resolutions regarding the project until the November 12 regular meeting.
At the October 29 special meeting, Mayor Kris Lee indicated that he intends to withdraw the resolution from Commission business at the November 12 meeting to remove it from the table and the agenda for that date.
Instead, City Commission plans to hold a special meeting with a work session at 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 21 for the purpose of discussing the Deerfield Subdivision project. This extension will allow Commissioners time to hear additional community input.
