Located between Market and High streets in downtown Piqua, McCulloch Square is situated directly in front of the historic Fort Piqua Plaza and contains a gazebo and monuments commemorating notable residents. The space serves as a gathering space for several community events and is decorated for the holiday season.
The square is named for William McCulloch, who served as a U.S. Representative from 1947 to 1973 and is best known for co-sponsoring and advocating for the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He was a founding partner at the law firm in Piqua that bears his name.
