The City of Piqua has reopened the application period for the vacant Fourth Ward Commissioner seat.
At the City Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 20, City Commission voted to table consideration of the appointment until its meeting on Tuesday, February 3, and to reopen the position posting through Monday, February 2, to allow additional interested residents time to apply.
Individuals interested in serving as Fourth Ward Commissioner may apply through February 2. Applications received to date will remain under consideration.

Applicants are asked to mark their calendars for 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026, to attend the City Commission meeting and answer questions regarding their interest and experience.
