The City of Piqua Human Resources Department has the centralized responsibility for:

  • Recruitment and selection of employees
  • Employee on-boarding
  • Civil service
  • Policy and procedure
  • Employee and labor relations
  • Classification and compensation
  • Performance management
  • Employee benefits
  • Maintenance of personnel records

The department also interprets employment laws, and interacts with union leadership, civil service commission, labor management groups, health insurance personnel, chamber of commerce groups, and many others.

Job Openings

Leadership

The Human Resources Department is under the leadership of Human Resources Director, Catherine Bogan, and reports directly to the City Manager.
